Originally from picturesque Ithaca, NY, Ms. Chace's journey into the realms of music, theater, and dance began at an early age, igniting a lifelong passion for the performing arts.
Her experiences on the stage have ranged across numerous musical landscapes across the country on stages big and small including but not limited to Connecticut, Texas, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Minnesota, Illinois, Rhode Island, California, and Maryland.
In 2019, she graduated from the renowned New England Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, marked by excellence including academic honors and a nomination for Pi Kappa Lambda.
Ms. Chace embodies the belief that a singer's ultimate purpose is to weave a compelling narrative through their artistry. She possesses an innate ability to delve into the core essence of every character and role she undertakes, infusing her performances with authenticity and emotional depth.
Her versatility as both a singer and actress are testaments to her diverse influences, drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum of genres including musical theater, opera, art song, jazz, folk, easy listening, and bluegrass. She particularly relishes the intersections bewtween musical theater and western classical vocal music, viewing it as her mission to showcase the full spectrum of vocal expression. Whether in traditional productions, cabaret-style performances, recital programs, outreach and training settings, or choral endeavors, Ms. Chace's artistic prowess shines brightly.
Beyond the spotlight, Ms. Chase is a dedicated academic and family-oriented individual. Her unwavering commitment to vocal health, management, and pedagogy propelled her towards the field of speech-language pathology with a special interest in populations of people with voice, swallowing, and upper airway challenges and/or disorders. In 2023, she graduated with her master's degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Always hungry for more, she left for Salt Lake City less than a month after graduating to earn a certificate in Vocology from the National Center for Voice and Speech and Summer Vocology Institute, training with voice specialists including but not limited to Ingo Titze, Lee Maxfield, Aaron Johnson, Brian Manternach, Lynn Helding, and many more.
She has her own vocal studio, ever-committed to authenticity and self-reflection, among foundational values such as those discussed above (voice and mental health, management, dedication, commitment, and storytelling).
Her eclectic interests also extend into the realms of performing arts psychology, accent management, caregiver counseling, and patient advocacy. Additionally, she has a keen eye for fashion and skincare, and an enduring love for all things New England.
Presently, she resides in Alexandria, VA. She remains wholeheartedly dedicated to her craft and is always prepared to embark on artistic journeys wherever the music may take her.
