Ms. Chace's journey into the realms of music, theater, and dance began at an early age, igniting a lifelong passion for the performing arts.
Her experiences on the stage have ranged across numerous musical landscapes across the country on stages big and small including but not limited to Connecticut, Texas, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Minnesota, Illinois, Rhode Island, California, and Maryland.
She is a graduate of the renowned New England Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, marked by excellence including academic honors and a nomination for Pi Kappa Lambda.
As both a performer and teacher, Ms. Chace embodies the belief that a singer's ultimate purpose is to weave a compelling narrative through their artistry. She possesses an innate ability to delve into the core essence of every character and role she undertakes, infusing her performances with authenticity and emotional depth. In her vocal studio, she remains ever-committed to authenticity and self-reflection, among foundational values such as voice and mental health, voice management, student/performer empowerment, dedication, commitment, and storytelling.
Her unwavering commitment to voice health, management, and pedagogy propelled her towards the field of speech-language pathology with a special interest in populations of people with voice, swallowing, and upper airway challenges and/or disorders. When the COVID pandemic wiped out the majority of voice opportunities, Ms. Chace chose to take advantage of this time and pivoted, going on to obtain her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, where she graduated again with honors and successful defense of her thesis, entitled "
Validity of the Voice and Communication Situation Questionnaire for People Presumed Female at Birth (VCSQPFAB) in
Serving the Needs of Professional Singers". Weeks after graduating, she left for Salt Lake City to earn a certificate in Vocology from the National Center for Voice and Speech and Summer Vocology Institute, led by vocologist Ingo Titze, among numerous other voice professionals.
Presently, she resides in Alexandria, VA. She remains wholeheartedly dedicated to her craft by and is always prepared to embark on artistic journeys wherever the music may take her.
